Closed positions export from cTrader Trade Watch
cTrader exports closed positions as a CSV with full round-trip data including entry price, close price, commission, swap, and net profit. Each row represents one complete closed position.
Before you start
- cTrader desktop or web platform
- Trade Watch panel accessible
Step-by-step guide
- 1
Open Trade Watch
In cTrader, find the Trade Watch panel (usually docked at the bottom). If it is not visible, go to View → Trade Watch.
- 2
Go to the History tab
Click the "History" tab inside Trade Watch to view your closed positions.
- 3
Set date range
Use the date filter at the top of the History panel to select the time period you want to export.
- 4
Export as CSV
Right-click anywhere in the history list and choose "Save as CSV" (or look for an export/download icon). Save the file to your computer.
- 5
Review and import in Composure
Go to Journal → Import Trades, select the .csv file, review the parsed trades, then click Import selected trades.
Important notes
- Use the Trade Watch History CSV export — not the Account Statement PDF or the Deals History. The position-based CSV contains full entry and exit data.
- cTrader account statements that show only a close time (no entry time) are intentionally blocked — they do not contain enough data for a reliable round-trip trade.
- Commission and swap values are summed into the net P&L during import.
