Terms of Service

By accessing or using Composure (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Composure (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Composure is a private trading journal and performance analytics platform. It provides tools for logging trades, reviewing execution quality, tracking risk settings, and receiving AI-assisted coaching insights based on your own trading data.

Composure is a journaling and review tool only. It is not a broker, trading platform, financial advisor, or investment service. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial advice.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, pose a risk to the integrity of the Service.

Composure offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans (Trader, Pro, Elite). Paid plans are billed monthly through Paddle, our payment processor. Trial periods, prices, and features are described on the Pricing page and may change with notice.

If you start a trial and cancel before the trial period ends, you will not be charged the recurring fee. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the monthly subscription fee will be charged automatically.

All payments are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in an automated fashion
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload or transmit content that infringes third-party rights or contains malicious code
• Interfere with the security or operation of the Service or its infrastructure

Composure uses AI to generate trade scores, weekly reports, and coaching insights. These outputs are based solely on the trade data you enter and are provided for educational and self-reflection purposes only.

AI-generated content does not constitute financial advice and should not be relied upon when making trading or investment decisions. You assume full responsibility for all trading decisions you make.

You retain ownership of all trade data, journal entries, notes, and other content you create in Composure. We do not sell your data or use it to train public AI models.

Your trade data is sent to our AI analysis service only when you explicitly trigger an AI feature (score or report). It is not shared with third parties for any other purpose.

If you cancel your subscription, your journal data remains accessible on the Free plan. You may export your data at any time on paid plans. We will retain your data for 12 months after account deletion, after which it is permanently removed.

The Service, including its design, software, and all content created by us (excluding your trade data), is owned by Composure and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will not be lost.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Composure's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is less.

Composure is not liable for any trading losses, missed opportunities, or financial harm resulting from the use or reliance on the Service or any AI-generated content.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (including Sections 6, 8, and 9) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where Composure operates, unless otherwise required by local law in your jurisdiction.
